Siphon feature only works on LOW pressure setting at the nozzle OR with LOW pressure tip installed on the wand (whichever applies to your machine).
If you have tried these without success, you might need to clean out the nipple where the siphon hose attaches.
Remove the hose, unscrew the nipple carefully, and treat the check-valve inside (usually a spring & ball combo) with penetrating lube. Several applications may be needed in extreme cases.
Hope this helps.

Transmission stopped suddenly

You mean stopped working suddenly? About all a person can do to automatics is making sure the fluid is full with clean (pinkish) fluid, and doesn't smell of a burnt cheeseburger on the dipstick. Clean fluid has a slight petroleum odor.
Sometimes a drain and refill with a new filter body and pan gasket (filter is accesible when transmission pan is removed) will bring a slipping transmission back to life, but if yours is not working at all, I doubt it would help. Have a transmission shop diagnose it, and be ready for sticker shock.

The water or solution will not shoot out

Good Afternoon! This is a wonderful machine! Unfortunately, the pumps tend to go out. The pump not only releases the hot water to spray, it also controls the release of the cleaning fluid. Most likely you will need to replace the pump. There is an 800 number on the back at it's base. Serial and model numbers as well. You can test the unit to make sure this is the problem. Fill both the bladder and cleaning fluid resevoir and plug the unit in. Turn it on, release the handle and lower the handle to the floor while it's running. It is safe to do this and the brushes will stop rotating. You will see a hole (opening) in which the fluids normally flow. This hole SHOULD have suction when placing an object directly over the hole. Fingers flattened, a paper plate, anything that is twice the size of the opening and solid enough that it can not be sucked into the unit. If there IS suction, next test is to return the handle to the upright position till it clicks in place. Turn the knob selection from floor to tools. Squeeze the fluid release lever while aiming at a paper plate. See if it has sprayed fluid, then release the handle and try sucking up the fluid. If you again have no fluids released, you do need a pump. Check the age of the unit. Bissell has a 2 year Warrantee that usually covers most repairs and the 800 number will give you local repair shops. If you are out of warrantee, the pump can be ordered and installed through Sears for a reasonable price. Once you do this, YES, purchase their extended warrantee, it always pays off because the pumps go out a lot. But hey...they do a beautiful job cleaning! I hope this is helpful. By the way, if it doesn't pick up fluids, be sure to clean the unit thourally. Take pictures on a cell phone to double check how to put the parts back if you're afraid you won't remember OK?

We have a 2000 Chevy S-10 pick-up,that wont start. I have spark, I have fuel up to the metering body, it starts when I spray starter fluid into the throttle body, long enough to burn it off. I have 12...

Have you put the car on an OBD scanner to see if there are any errors present. Even if there is no CEL light - the bulb could be burned out or removed.

Injectors require (acidic) pressurized equipment to clean.
This is not really an option open to the do-it-yourselfer because it requires special equipment that can cost anywhere from $4,000 to $8,300. Because of that and the labor involved, a shop may charge you $40+ per injector for removal and cleaning. (Makes you long for the good old days of carburetion, doesn’t it?)
But it’s a lot cheaper than spending at least twice that to replace ruined injectors with new ones, which is what happens when an injector becomes hopelessly clogged. And injectors can be tested, observed, and compared off the car. An injector that’s not passing as much liquid as the others can be re-cleaned. If that doesn’t work and the injector must be replaced, the injector that needs to be replaced is easily pinpointed.
When cleaning injectors, fuel varnish should also be removed from the throttle body and intake tract with an aerosol cleaning solvent. Intake valves and combustion chambers should also be cleaned using a “top cleaner” type of product, especially on engines that burn oil. Replace the spark plugs after performing any kind of engine cleaning; also change the oil and filter.
