Maxxum 7000 are cheap these days. Get a used one on Ebay and keep yours for parts.
Better yet, get a 7000i, 700xi, 650xi, 800xi or a Maxxum 5, 7, or 9. Why? More focus points, faster AF, more options, same lenses. But you will need to replace your flash.
BTW...remove batteries when you aren't put it away.

Duracell batteries leaked in my Garmin 62st.. New batteries too..

You can take the bad batteries out and clean up the battery compartment, using isopropal alcohol (rubbing alcohol and a lot of q tips). . Problem is if the acid wrecked the contacts. Light corrosion (green, corroded copper color) needs to be removed with sand paper or emery cloth, until all the contacts are shinny metal again. maybe spray some silicon on the newly shinned metal to slow down re-corrosion. If the damage is serious, i.e. the metal is eaten away, then someone with soldering experience needs to desolder the bad metal and resolder in good. This can be quite expensive is you take it to a technician.

Problem accelerating after 40 rpms shoot up

You have a failed transaxle

The rpm flairs, that is a dead give away

You may have a worn out & clogged exhaust converter, adding to the problem, but the trans is gone, if the rpm flairs & after 45, you it doesn't run half decent

Renault espace 3.0 d.c.I overheating if the e.g.r valve has gone will it make it overheat.

The egr stuck open, would cause misfires
& all sorts of drivabiltiy issues & you would
stop & resolve that
Overheating would be an old clogged radiator,
thermostat or head gasket issue or fans that don't
come on or a water pump eaten away for some reason

I have an intermatic timer ET170 series and I can't program the days for my lights to come on... I already tried several times but the timer does not take my changes why.

Is this a newly purchased timer?
ET170 series has standard 1 year limited warranty, and is discontinued timer replaced by 7-day, 1 and 2 channel ET1700 series.
The manual shows troubleshoot section:
http://www.intermatic.com/~/media/files/intermatic/products/instructions/timers/et175c%20-%20english.ashx

Last step restoration for electronic timers is to replace battery and push in reset button.
Battery compartment is located below buttons.
Compartment slides down and outward and holds AA battery.
If functionality is not restored, then timer has gone bad.

Dell inspiron 6400 problems switching on power After switch on the poweer button .. One led is staying on and other two led is blinking after sometime all led light gone off.. Please advice me to...

1. Take the battery out of the laptop & try to turn on the laptop using power adapter only. If the computer turns on, then the battery is defective & needs to be replaced.
2. Make sure the power adapter is not defective. Test the output voltage of the power adapter using a voltmeter. Compare the voltmeter reading to the nominal value written on the adapter or the laptop.
3. If you have another processor which is compatible with your laptop's model, try swapping processors & test to see if the laptop will work.
4. The power button could be bad.
5. The motherboard could be defective & needs to be replaced.

Where does the ignitor battery go?

Hello,
Most batteries are located under the shelf near where the igniter push button is at. Look on the underside of the shelf that has the push button and follow the wire to a small battery compartment. Worse case is it's a little farther away and located in the cabinet area below the grill. Douglas

Tried starting it the other evening, turned over a few times then went to just a clicking sound when pressing the start button, battery is fully charged

The clicking is a dead give away that there is not enough power making its way to the starter. Check the connections on the battery to be sure that they are clean and free of any corrosion. If that doesn't help then check the connections at the solenoid. Also have your battery tested. It may have gone bad. Hope this helps. Good luck.
