Your top tension must be set on 5 or there is some cotton/fluff stuck in your top tension unit or you have no tension on your bobbin case

Bobbin thread bunching on singer sewing machine...have changed needle and tensions! Help

Try a ball point 11/70 or stretch 11/70 needle. Also rethread the entire machine. Make sure the needle is inserted correctly in the sewing machine. I had this same thing happen to me recently and I found I had the needle backwards.

Sewing machine tension

Hi. The upper tension is too loose (even tho it looks ok). If the upper thread is too loose, it can't pull the bobbin thread up to properly form the stitch and you get those messy 'birds nest' on the bottom side of the fabric. I posted a Tip on Adjusting Tension--read that and adjust your upper tension.

Thanks!

Singer Featherweight 132 will not feed fabric

Have you checked to see what the stitch length setting is?
If it is threaded correctly in the top and in the bobbin, will it sew in reverse?

Sewing machine will not make stich

If you have rethreaded it correctly then try some of that canned air and spray it to clean out any and all lint in the machine and you may find that that may fix the problem it did on mine
