Re: cant get sound
The movement to another place was not the cause of lost program. you just have loose contact, try to remove the sound card then clean then reinstall if you have. if you are using the on board soundcard, check your phone jack if you inserted to the correct one. green is the default and pink is the microphone's default

Is your pc volume turned up, if so you say you had your pc fixed did they do an upgrade or anything like that if so then they may have altered your sound settings or not even installed the sound drivers.
first check that the sound is on and the speakers are plugged into the correct socketon the pc,
If this is ok then check to make sure your drivers are nstalled and using the sound card you have installed you will have to goto control panel then double click on the sound button check to make sure making sure your speakers are enabled, And check your properties you shouls see your sound card listed in the properties section.
They should be plugged in and turned on when you power up your system. They should be plugged into the green jack (line out).
You then may have to check settings in control panel for your sound card's properties to see if digital only is checked. Try it both ways.
Hope this helps.
I lost control to my audio through the gain control of some program I didn't clear properly. I'm using Vista Home Premium. My machine came with Realtek High Definition Audio as well as a plain sound console console. Plus I downloaded a couple of non-Windows and other media programs. They may be set on "Mute" or low volume without being visible. As an aside(I didn't investigate further) I had occasion to go crazy for a while because I couldn' get rid of an audio feed from somewhere that turned out to be my "Google" gadget bar hidden off screen to the right with NASA broadcasting. Three days... The problem survived several rebootings. Maybe if you have something like that with the sound on "Mute"???
hi abdi, the problem is that your sound driver is not installed. You might have got a driver cd when you purchased your PC. Installed the required sound driver and you are done. if you dont know what driver you need you can try sound max or realtek ac97 or conexant audio driver... hope it helps regards bozy
No there are no adjustments to that model as far as I know thats why they call them sub woofers my nephews would break their hearts getting at one of those and they would have the bass full bore...hahaha!
