It was working fine until 3 weeks ago, now it is not cooling well - 12F in the freezer, 55F in the fridge. I cleaned the coils outside and defrosted it overnight, but this did not help. The 110V heater is on constantly, it draws 2.3 amps.
I have the same Magic Chef reefer with the same problem. My friend is an HVAC mechanic & found out the problem. On the back wall of the freezer there is a circulating fan that forces the cold air from the cooling coil (which is right there as well) down into the refer below. Your fans not working. I've been trying to find a replacement but the Magic Chef factory service center says the part is "obsolete" and they suggested repair parts houses. Good luck. PS if you find the fan let me know where.

AC input power to fridge doesn't work. DC Power / Gas does work. Fuses are good on control board. and there doesn't seem to be any damage to the board. The Main Power ON switch works with DC but does not come on for AC.

How do you regulate Dometic to stay at 36 degrees. Our Dometic gets down to 26 and 24 degrees, which is too cold. There is a white slider on the right hand side of refrigerator for regulating the temperature plus a sensor that comes from inside of refrigerator to regulate. There are no other controls to regulate the temperature. Please advise.
