You problem sounds like you have a faulty heating element or maybe the thermostats are faulty.
If you plan to do the repairs yourself, then you will need to remove the back of the dryer and locate the air tube from the blower to the drum, this is where the heating coil and the thermostats are normally located.
You can test the coil and thermostats with a continuity meter and check function.
Good luck
I hope this helps

Why doesn't it blow warm air?

When batteries in the thermostat get low the inside unit will come on but there is not enough power to start the compressor cycle.

I have a side by side fridge/freezer. Occationally the freezer side warms up and the fridge side starts icing. It happens sporatically. It is a hotpoint model hsm25gftasa. Tried giving it more air

The defrost timer also turns on heater strips buried behind the metal parts that the door gaskets touch. It may be you're just witnessing the defrost cycle. If you have lost power for a time, that affects the clock time of day the defrost cycle starts. I'd look at the defrost timer and reset the time.

Airco seems to blow hot air most of the times, but cold occasionally

Seems like the blend door is intermittent,Like you said in some cases it works fine,Either the blend door is intermitent or the cycling switch is intermittent this is located on the filter drier when this pressure switch fails the A/C goes intermittent

I was airing my tires day before yesterday,I noticed the com was running for a long time. When I went to turn it off it was really warm. I have never noticed it getting that warm before. ( I have had it for...

all air compressors will build up heat especially if they run non stop it is normal for them to get warm .an air compressor will cook itself if it doesnt cycle off and on and made to run continuously for long lengths of time which really depends on the type most home owner type air compressors are junk especially oil free oil less the best air compressors are cast iron oil lubricated which there is also aluminum oil lubricated which when thoes fail you just throw them away .cast iron pumps are better made and are rebuild able.oil free are noisy not very dependable.

Ldv maxus, difficult to start, changed glows,no better, a lot worse in very cold weather -6. any suggestions

Battery condition? I used to "cycle" the glow system two or three times before cranking. In other words when glow finishes, turn key off then start the glow cycle again. Get a crankcase or block heater. To warm up or "keep" warm. Glow almost never fails.
But it's possible the Glow timer or connections are going.
There are "Cetane" improvers that may improve cold starting. Quality of fuel you are getting? Last time Filter was changed? Really cold? and stuck. Only for emergency, not recommended. Ether cold start spray can. Spray into the air intake. You may need to open Air filter passage to spray. I knew a farmer who had an automatic ether system. Blue up the engine from over speed. So that is why you need to be careful!

Heats up but takes several cycles to get clothes dryer

Check for a restriction in your exhaust vent. not just behind the machine but all the way to the outside vent, should have good warm airflow at outside vent. With no good air flow you have no way to get rid of the moisture. and all you will end up with is warm moist clothes. this can happen slowley happen over time and next thing you know it takes several cycles to dry the clothes .it cost a lot to dry them this way

Intermittent heat

Intermittent heat is usually the result of a low coolant state. What happens is the heater core isn't getting the circulation necessary to keep the air warm. The irony is that your engine will run hotter when this happens.

To fix this, start with a cold engine and open the radiator fill cap.
Start the engine and top off the coolant.
Let the engine keep running and warm up.
When it begins to cycle the coolant check the level again. Top it off again.
Turn the heater on full blast
Keep topping after each cycle until it stops needing fluid.

At that time the heater should be blowing hot air consistently.

Best regards

Kenmore AC compressor on and off while outside unit fan running

If the out door fan keeps running and the compressor cycles off that would be the overload in the compressor.
What keeps the windings cool is the refrigerant back to the compressor.
For the overload to cycle it would have to be either not enough cooling back to the compressor or high amp draw, which could be the metering device (txv or orifice) or low on charge, or other things would be a bad capacitor, sometimes a bad start relay not staying open, when compressor gets up to speed or anything causing the compressor to draw high amps.
To check the refrigerant, he needs to check the superheat at the compressor it should be appoximately 12° to15°, and next time the compressor goes off if you shut the power off and feel the top of the compressor and if it's hot 130° or higher it's probably refrigerant.

when your car is in defrost it has an ac cycling it removes the moisture then sends the air over the heater core depending on how warm you set it you can feel warm or cold but the ac is always cycling...ridding the need a good ac tech it will be okay...its just expensive going into the heater core if needed...!
