Question about Gateway GM5084 PC Desktop
Gateway Foxconn C51GU01 MB Problem: blue screen when all mem slots occupied. Sometimes boots with first 3 slots occupied. No boot with 2 slots occupied (all dimms seem to be OK) MB Bad?
Possible a memory socket is bad. Make sure you are using the correct type of memory including parity and compatible speeds. It is recommended to use like memory sticks in each slot. Some PCs even require the sticks to be equal memory capacity. User's guide should tell you what the compatible capacities and speeds should be. If you don't have the manual, you can get by looking up your PC model number on Gateway.com.
