Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to replace toshiba satellite keyboard

Trying searching the internet with "replace keyboard toshiba satellite" (skip over the links about those for sale), there are a few relevant ones e.g.,
http://www.ehow.com/how_5942786_replace-keyboard-toshiba-satellite.html
or
http://www.instructables.com/id/Replace-a-Toshiba-Satellite-laptop-keyboard/
You will find videos as well, which might be of more use, e.g.,

If you are after the exact procedure for a particular model, try searching on the model, either on the internet or on youtube, or try the service manual from the Toshiba website, if one is available.

Toshiba satellite c655 hinge replace

If you don't have the experience on disassembly the Toshiba Satellite c650 c655 laptop, we suggest you refer to the official maintenance manual firstly if you have. Here we provide a universal instruction for the reference, some steps may be not the same. If you need a detailed guide or manual, please contact us, we will email you if we have.
1. Please turn off your Toshiba Satellite c650 c655 laptop, disconnect the power adapter and remove the toshiba satellite c650 c655 battery.
2. Turn the laptop over. Remove the screws (may not exist) that hold the Toshiba Satellite c650 c655 hinges on the back of the computer.
3. Remove all the screws (may not exist) that hold the keyboard and keyboard bezel in place, then gently pry keyboard bezel using a flat head screwdriver. Lift the keyboard and unplug the keyboard cable from the motherboard to remove the keyboard. Now, you will see the toshiba c650 c655 laptop fan
4. Detach both hinge covers using your fingers. Unscrew the screws securing the Toshiba Satellite c650 c655 hinges to the laptop base.

Satellite L655D-S5093 keyboard removal

This is the User's Manual for the L655-S5098 laptop:
http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=SB&os=&category=&moid=2759985&rpn=PSK2CU&modelFilter=L655-S5098&selCategory=2756709&selFamily=1073768663

Predictably, its useless when performing maintenance such as keyboard replacement, but page 82 indicates that this laptop supports "most USB-compatible [external] keyboards", so, while the chicklet keyboard is down, you can boot and use the system with a workaround USB keyboard.

I could not find an L655-S5093 laptop model on the Toshiba support web site, which is found at http://www.pcsupport.toshiba.com

The closest I could locate for you are these two How-to Guides:

Here's a teardown of the Toshiba L645/L645D laptops:
http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba-Satellite-L645D-L640D/remove-laptop-motherboard-1.htm

Here's a teardown of the Toshiba L675D laptop:
