Re: help me

Hello, Check with the manufacturers website. You may need to download a driver to get access to this from WIN98. Good Luck! Dr. Know

My pen drive cannot work in windows 98

windows 98 does not support the NTFS file system, so you need to format your pen drive as FAT32 to make it compatible with 98.
Hope it helped,

To use moserbare 1gb pen drive

to use USB mass storage in Windows 98 you need to install drivers for your mass device. So,
  1. Findout if any CD/DVD shipped with your pendrive. Install driver from that to your Windows 98 PC, then you can use it.
  2. If you don't have any setup disk from manufacturer, there might be drivers and software prestored in your pen drive. Use this pendrive to any other PC with XP/Vista. Burn these files to any CD/DVD and then make install these drivers to your Windows 98 PC, after that you can use your pen drive on your Windows 98 PC.
  3. If you are not able to do step 2, then goto manufacturer's site select your model no. and download driver and install.

If still you didn't found. Tell me your pendrive manufacturer and model no. I will try to give you link.

I can't use 2 GB kingston pendrive in windows 98

windows 98 will probably need drivers installed before it can recgonize a USB flash drive:

I don't know which specific model of kingston drive you have, but if you go to this link, select the right model, and click on 'download win98 drivers'  that should work.
