Leaking Frigidaire FWS445RF

My Frigidaire FWS445RF is leaking from the tub. I'm hoping it's something simple like a gasket between the inner and outer tubs, but I can't see how to remove the inner tub. Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

First suggestion,
if your not qualified to do this, i'd suggest you take it to a service center.
Removing the tub requires specialty tools, and adjustments that are crucial to working properly. It can actually be leaking from somewhere else. This can also be quite expensive, as most repairmen will not replace old parts once they are disassembled. Please weigh the cost of replacement, vs. fixing this one. If you decide to tackle this job yourself, get a manual.
Good luck..

How can I fix my Frigidaire PLD4375RFC Dishwasher that leaks from bottom door even after new door gaskets 154576501 and 154701001.

It sounds like you are fixing the wrong area. If water is coming down between the inner and outer door panel and following the wiring harness, the leak is inside the door. Either from the soap cup mounting or the rinse agent area which I think is the same unit on your model. There is a gasket behind that part. Also check the inner door if its plastic for any possible cracks.

Frigidaire disherwasher leaking water

It could leak from a coupleof areas. Door gasket, door tabs at bottom of tub opening, leaking pumps. I hope it is the gaskets as they are fairly cheap if it is the pumps they are expensive but easily replaced. Good luck

The washing machine is leaking water and it is coming from underneath the washer during all filling cycles and running cycles why?

Could be several things. Check all the hoses, water pump, water valve also check if water is coming from the bottom of tub could be tub seal. Check that there is not a leak in the outer tub somewhere I had one that had a nail stuck in one of the holes in the inner tub and rubbed a hole in the outer tub. Have fun I hope this helps.

I have a whirlpool Duet washer model GHW9150PW0 that began to thump during the spin cycle. I removed the front and it appears the inner tub is off-center or out-of-round. Further, it has worn off the...

There is a lifetime warranty on this main basket. and 10 years on the outer front and rear buckets. My unit is 7 1/2 years old. and had the same problem. One of those 3 spokes connecting the main shaft to the rear bucket cracked and killed the front outer bucket. Whirpool tried to tell me I needed a professional to diagnose it but I told her the rear outer bucket was cracked, leaking water, and shredded the front outer. She sent me all three parts for $0! It took 2 hours to get apart and that was me being super careful. The parts will be here tomorrow morning! I did needd to buy 2 shocks at $21.00 each.

We have a Frigidaire top loading, 8 cycle, heavy duty, super capacity 2 speed washer and it does not have a model number on the inside lid. The washer is leaking at the point where the drive shaft connects...

the part needed to be replaced is the main tub seal and it is not hard to do. remove the agitator the you will see a collars that has two bolts on the side of it this keeps the inner tub attached to the drive shaft you may also have one that is broken.
lift the washer lid. then remove the tub ring that is on top of the outer tub once this is removed you can remove the inner tub.there will be a brass ring with a black rubber piece in the center of it this need to come off in order to get the tub seal out. it maybe a little difficult toe remove but it just pulls up. you may have to use some liquid soap on the drive shaft to make things easier to slide up and off

The dishwasher leaks through the front door. A gasket problem?

yes, this is an issue with this manufacturer.
you must remove the inner & outer door assembly.
the lower front tub has a front lip, the lip must be reformmed towards the rear,
then a seal that attatches to the inner door panel at the bottom must be replaced as its also
this fix works all the time.
*also remember dont use more than a teaspoon of gel or a tablespoon of powder
as this will cause too much suds and will spill over & out thue the front bottom of door.

Leaking around center spindle gasket of outer plastic basket

There was a hole in the plastic liner tub from the inner metal basket rubbing on it during the spin cycle. I got some plastic cement and put it in there and it willl hold for a little while while anyway. Not a very well designed washer when you look into the guts of the monster.

Washing machine leaking

They are not any more prone to leak than any other brand of front loader. He needs to take the bottom cover off and look for the source with a flashlight while the machine runs through a cycle. It could be something simple like a drain or fill hose or something much more difficult like the tub gasket. He will know that it is a tub gasket the leak originates where the two sections of the drum are fastened together.

Worn outer tub

yea youl need to replace the tub alright, cgances are the bolts holding the inner tub to the transmission shaft have also broken off, which is why the inner tub spun off kilter and rubbed a hole in the outer tub,. the bolts (2 of them ) woulds have benn locking the inner basket to the tranny shaft, visible after removing the agitator
