SOURCE: purple tinged camera screen

all you have to do is, (Now, I know this may sound crazy but it will help) Take apart your camera. Disconnect the black cord wrapped around the blue cord. Pull out the yellow cord out and throw it away. That yellow cord is a virus which is causing your screen to go purple. Now reconnect the black cord and unwrap it from around the blue cord. This will cause your screen to not only turn back to normal but to hold 2x the space of pictures you would usually hold. If this doesn't work, then stop being lazy and buy yourself a new camera. Yes, I'm talking to you granny!!

Good day my fellow American citizens. I really do hope this works. Thank you for your time. ;)

Blurry pics or with yellow tinge

If your pictures are blurry, you have a shutter speed that is too slow. If they are yellow, your white balance isn't set to auto. Try using the camera in more light or setting it to full auto. There is most likely nothing wrong with your camera.

Lately pictures are all coming out tinged purple or pink. I have been getting a message saying that the colour scheme is returning to vista basic when I open up the photo program. Any ideas? ThanksJon

Make sure that you don't have photo cyan or photo magenta where the plain colors should be, or vice versa, The color scheme is set in printer properties and some viruses can fool with your settings, make sure you run a virus check.

When printing pictures, they are discolored

You are running low on your color ink cartridge. It cannot mix the primary colors right anymore and the color images start getting a pink-purple tinge to them. Get a new set of cartidges and install them and this should fix the problem fine. Hope this helps.

Unit works, except the pictures have a purple look to them

It seems there is a problem with your LCD TFT screen.

It is hard to replace a LCD screen by yourself.

A new one is better than repaired one.
