Still looking for that part?

I found it here: http://www.partstore.com/sl/2/indexd5008.html

I understand why they won't let Bgillespie sell you the part (conflict of interests) but this time it didn't turn out too well I guess. Anyway, the above site has it for $125.

Ok yes, it may be the thermostat.(It is the control and the tube that runs down inside the oven.) Give a few minutes and I'll post back....

When you replaced the ignitor did you replace it with a "flat" shaped ignitor? Yes you can also check the thermostat control by turning it on and checking for voltage at the ignitor. No voltage means that thermostat is bad...

I just looked at your oven. If you turn the oven on and your not getting any voltage to the ignitor then thermostat has to be replaced.

    Part# 0316507 (cost around $120.00)

Bad news is here in houston my parts store show that the part has to be ordered from the factory. It will probaly be a few weeks before you will be able to get the part.GOODLUCK and Mery Christmas!

Had oven set at 500 degrees. Turned off all burners and oven, but the broiler remains on! What do I do?

Hello. It sounds like you have a shorted relay on the main board(if this oven has an electronic control board) keeping power on to the broiler element. I need the make/model number to help you further and accurately.

My Frigidaire gas oven won't light but broiler does light

Hello friend, thank you for your post!

From what you are describing it sounds like a potential issue with your control or pressure regulator within your Frigidaire oven. I would recommend seeking assistance from a professional for further help regarding the oven not lighting due to the gas.
If you need assistance connecting with a professional technician you can visit the manufacture's website for further help. -Matt

Why will my broiler work but my bake will not?

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that the broil element is heating in your Frigidaire oven, but the bottom bake element will not heat. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. When you restore power you will need to set the clock. Preheat your oven using the bake option. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your oven status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Broiler coil is on when bake is turned on...is this normal?

On some kitchen ranges, the broiler comes on during the preheat cycle to speed up the process of warming up the oven and reduce the wait time. This is intended as an energy saving feature as well by reducing the amount gas used on a gas range and the amount of electricity with an electric range.

If the broiler comes on and STAYS on while you are baking, this is NOT normal and is probably an indicaiton that you have a problem with the Electronic Oven Control (EOC) board. This is your timer/clock assembly on the operator console. The EOC controls all the oven features.

If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. Please post your MODEL NUMBER when submitting questions, so I can determine how your range is configured. I hope this helps you.

My oven does not work but broiler does

Look at the ignitor. Should have 110 volts to it when on bake. Replace if not glowing. I cannot see your reply due to some tech issue w/ the site, so it may be a day or so before I can reply again. Please leave feedback for me if appropriate. Thanks

Amana oven arg7300LL oven and boiler do not work?

If it is the same as my Amana, it has a small switch in front of the thermostat switch. It is only a $15 part to fix it. I am searching for the thermostat and your question came up. I am sorry it is so late in response to your question. I am sure you have fixed it by now.
