Question about RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8100
Have seen this on the blackberry forums and there is no real consensus on what causes it (other than memory leaks). You can try doing a hardware reset (pulling battery and sim card, letting it sit for a few minutes and putting sim card and batt back and turn on). I have 4.5 on my Blackberry Pearl and have not experienced and weird OS resets my self unless I have too many apps open. You can try updating the OS by going to your respective carrier. Mine is Tmobile and you can find the 4.5 for the 8100 here
Hope this helps,
