I had a service man come out for my Maytag Epic Z that turned off when the power went. Come to find out, under the door panel of my washer can come off. There was the service manual taped on the inside. Then the guy took off the hose filter on the bottom. It was filled with coins, a nail, sand, and muck. He said that you can clean this out monthly to prevent problems. I had no idea. Also, my rubber around the door had a few small holes he found and the water had leaked onto the wires below and fried the control panel. There was two problems going on. The F-01 code was for the clogged, dirty filter on the hose and then another number went on while it was messing with it, showing the bottom was fried. The codes told the exact problems it was having, so that was good. The code book was taped to the panel, so I didn't have it. I used the Internet to figure out as much as I could. I wish there was more instructions when you buy the beast to preventing problems such as these. I am now looking to buy another washer, because the parts and labor cost almost more than buying a new machine, any suggestions?

Sounds something simple like the filter blocked. Remove and clean filter(you will probably find some cash) but the F1 code should be explained in your User Manual.

The manufacturer has issued a remedy for the F-1. What you do is empty the machine of water and unplug it. Open the control panel and remove the pressure hose. Blow out the hose to remove sediment . Re secure it to the control and retry. No parts needed. F-1 Error infothemobilian_1223.jpg

Hi-Temp Wash, Hi-Temp Rinse, or Sanitize options.
Some models have options that may require a water heating delay, such as Hi-Temp Wash, Hi-Temp Rinse, or Sanitize. Additional time may be required to heat the water to the proper temperature. The dishwasher will continue to circulate water during this heating delay but the timer will not advance until the proper temperature is reached

Hello there:
If your cycle does not complete or The cycle doesn't advance
When the cycle should advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem: It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer. It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. than check the cold water supply line and the filter

Maytag washer stopped working at the rinse cycle

do you have the machine set for cold water rinse? if so, the solenoid that allows the cold water to come into the machine may be malfunctioning. try to see if it will fill in the rinse cycle with hot water? if so, you need to change the water inlet valve.

An HF Code is a Water Inlet Problem- No or Insufficient Water Supply.

Press Pause/Cancel twice to cancel the cycle. Then, unplug the washer.

Run down the list again:
Make sure faucets are completely turned on.
Make sure the fill vavles (screens where water enter machine) aren't clogged.
Make sure the hoses aren't kinked, etc.

Plug the machine back in. Try another cycle. If the problem still occurs, You may need to replace your Water Fill Valve. Let me know if you need any further assistance.

F1 Alarm @ rinse cycle

F1 code = Primary Control Failure. Replace the machine/motor control assembly. If you use a screw driver in front of the machine to open the top you will find a repair manual on the inside of the front panel. or depending on the model, you can even unscrew the bottom and find the manual. The manual inside is actually meant for technicians. It contains the error codes and instructions related to them.will be looking forward for your comments if there is any further problem in this.
