TV won't power on

Sounds like the bulb is not firing. I have the 44 inch model. Like it too. It is normal for the power indicator to blink for a minute or two AFTER the set has been turned off from running. get a phillips or panasonic TY-LA1000 bulb or a P22H 120 watt one if you can remove the old one from the housing (not very hard to do).

The blinker indicators inside blink super fast. the front ones work fine, nothing with the rear ones. same thing wiht the hazards-the fronts flash but not the rear.

They blink fast because there is not enough load on the system a bulb or two are out replace the two rear bulbs if they are not flashing

My sony trv37 cassette door won't close.

If this condition only occurs with as cassette inserted to load this may indicate a condition where the cylinder which holds the video heads is not spinning up when requested by the system control microprocessor.
If the door will not latch closed with/or without a cassette inserted this can indicated a mis-timed condition of the tape loading mechanism.
Try closing the door without a cassette loaded whilst the unit is powered from its AC Adaptor - under certain conditions this may allow the mechanism to reset and may allow the door to then close.
I trust that this information is of assistance! RHN

Sony Handycam CCD-TR64 cassette door won't close

Common problem with this mechanism. In order to fix the problem you will have to replace part called CHASSIS LS. Expensive repair, probably not worth the effort.

We own a Sony handy cam model CCD-TRV37 and the tape will not come out. When pressing the eject button a little yellow arrow blinks upward on the screen and a code C:32:20 blinks in the upper right corner....

Error C:32:20 indicates that the take up reel of the cassette that winds the tape into the video cassette is not taking up the tape fast enough thus causing slacking when unloading.
Remove the battery or power cable, connect, and perform operations from the beginning.
if this fails take the camera to a repairman to remove the tape manually.

The tape carrage wont load the tapes but it will go into the load position without.

I have a sony cam myself. If the cam is empty, you open the outer door(swings out), and the load/unload mechanism rises up and pops open allowing tape insertion. When a cassette is placed into the mechanism, you press where it says "push" and then the drive pulls the tape down and into the unit. Then the outer door is closed and you're ready to tape. IF YOU PUSH DOWN ON THE TAPE WHILE IT'S BEING PULLED INTO THE UNIT IT WILL STRIP GEARS INSIDE. The gears are made of nylon to prevent serious damage to motors and other circuitry. This transport setup cannot be forced at all. If any type of mis-alignment occurs, the mechanism is supposed to stop and back up--allowing the problem to be corrected. If it is damaged, the cam must be repaired. There is critical timing involved in replacing the tape carriage.---Rick

Cartridge jam won't clear HP 5610v

I had the same problem and just got it to work. go to
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00577763&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&rule=22243&product=441125

go to the section "Moving the carriage" turn on printer and then unplug power. If you still cant move the carrage then remove both toner cartridge and all the trays. Then completely disconnect printer and stand it upright (so paper feed and cartridge tray is on top) Look thru the paper feed area to the left side of toner carrage and you will see a little plastic tab around the bottom back of the carrage. That tab is suppose to be inside a track on the bottom of the carrage. I think that when we put in or took out toner we must have pushed it to hard and that piece jumped out of the track and has "locked" the carrage. I just pushed the carrage up carefully and used a letter opener to move the plastic tab back into place (tab is spring loaded) print working fine now. Hope this solves your problem

Can not load any cassette even empty cassette holder can not be closed.

I had the same problem and solved it by removing the battery to allow the camera to reset. Worked fine after that.
