Re: my laptop cannot find my ypk when i plug in

Plug it in and use Windows Media player to try and detect your YP-K. If that fails, you can download the software or drivers from Samsung.

Philips dvp31111/58 doesnt work after upgrade

The firmware upgrade failed. Try making a new CD from a fresh download, using different CD-burning software if possible. and double-check your CD-writing procedure to make sure it conforms with the firmware download instructions. Try doing the firmware update again. If it won't run, the EEPROM chip in the player will have to be replaced with another one programmed for the player because the program in the existing chip is corrupted and crashes.

The Sansa doesn't play music through the USB port. You can connect the Sansa to your stereo via the Sansa's headphone jack.

My GPX mp3 player says MTP?

MTP stands for Media Transfer Protocol. If you did not run your installation CD BEFORE plugging the mp3 player into the computer, Windows XP and higher will read it as an MTP Device. As long as the player does not cause you problems, there is nothing wrong with your computer calling it that. If this is a problem: unplug the mp3 player from the computer, uninstall all software for that player, restart computer, reinstall allsoftware from installation CD, restart computer, then plug mp3 player into computer. Good luck!

Cant get past cd installation

Grab the software from Sandisk's website and try again. If that fails, upgrade your XP to SP2 or 3.

Sansa c250 vista

All right guys, let me teach you a trick involving this MP3. While it is off turn hold on and hold the back button on the face. (Left button of the square) While holding it plug it in and Vista or any other computer will recognize it as a removable drive like a flash drive so to speak. From there make sure it says its connected on the Sansa and then drag and drop what you like in the recommended place. ^_^ Have fun!

Insignia NS-DV4G video player Cant connect via USB, pc does not recognize, no cd!! help plz

I used the method that you use to update the firmware.
Turn off the unit ,,, slide it to HOLD. Then plug into the USB.
Seems to work every time for me .. Hope you have the same luck.
Strange that it has always worked until now ... same OS .. no updates since then ... But at least I can access it.
There is no driver I can find in the software bundle CD.
