Question about HP Pavilion zd8000 Notebook
The black and white wire are the leads for the built in wireless card for internet and networking. Below is the manual for that particular laptop. The wireless card is accessed from a small panel on the bottom of the case. Usually held in place by two retaining screws. Lift off this cover, if you see a single card or slot with one bright retaining clip on either side, that is the wireless card(or slot if empty). The wires attach to the two small round sockets on the card. It is called a mini-pci card. Your manual is below, make sure to save a copy for yourself for future reference.....
