The onboard video is dead, so I can't access the BIOS setup.

My problem is solved, and the computer works fine.
had to physically remove the alternative video board from the computer.
Then the BIOS switched to the on board video adopter.

I also had to download a suitable driver from Intel site.

Hey I have a Dell E210882 Motherboard, I recently tried to upgrade the RAM from 512MB to 1GB however after i switched the memory cards, my on-board graphics card stopped working. Now whenever i boot my monitor doesn't do anything. No blue screen no nothing.

I tried switching back to the original memory sticks (512MB) and yet the problem persists.

Hey I have a Dell E210882 Motherboard, I recently tried to upgrade the RAM from 512MB to 1GB however after i switched the memory cards, my on-board graphics card stopped working.

I tried switching back to the original memory sticks (512MB) and yet the problem persists. I powered down took everything apart and re-connected it.. still nothing

Now whenever i boot; my monitor doesn't do anything. No blue screen no nothing. Essentially it seems the on-board graphics card isn't communicating the monitor.

    I use a Gateway EV700 Monitor.

I don't have another graphics card.

For the onboard graphics card to be disabled you have to restart your computer and click on the "delete" button as much as you can untill you can log on a blue screen "setup screen", or if you can read that the motherboard requires you to click on another button to enter setup "usually F2" the click on it untill you enter setup, then just move the keyboard direction arrows till you get to the choice "integerated periferals" from there you will be able to find another sub choice that tells you your graphics card type, then while on that choice press enter to open it's menu and choose "AGP" or you could also find a choice that says "on board graphics card" then you get to it and press enter and choose "disable" if you're having any trouble with what i just poster you can reach me on my msn or yahoo chat accounts "ahmedconta@yahoo/"

Hi, if the car dies after removing the jumper cables, the alternator is not working. Remove it and have it tested at your local parts chain. If you have any questions, please let me know, and thanks for using FixYa.

No display

You need to do some simple tests. First make sure the monitor is working - test it with another pc.
Start by disconnecting everything and try to boot at least in the BIOS; if it's the same then replace the power source and try again; if it's the same then install another video card in it and try again; if it's the same then replace the memory sticks and try again. Finally replace the processor and try one more time - if even now you can't get the video to show up then the motherboard is dead, replace it.

My Braun electric shaver model 7680 has stopped functioning probably due to a dead battery ( I had it for years). A service center is asking in excess of 60 dollars to fix it. Battery and mother board...

If the shaver is completely dead and the charging lights no longer illuminate when plugged in, the circuit board will need changed. If they still illuminate when plugged in, you can just change the batteries.

You will find the batteries and also the circuit board with batteries at You can order which you require. See links below

There is a tip on the battery page for easier installation has an instructional video that shows you how to disassemble the shaver at the link below. It's the 4th video down

Sometimes this problem happens when your CMOS battery already dead. Replace the CMOS battery and run F4 to setup the date and time. Save it and you back to business.
