If this is an Electrolux, start by testing the suction at the inlet nearest the vac or at the 30 degree elbow on the left. If you have suction there but not elsewhere, and can hear the vac running when the hose is plugged in you have blockage in your main line between the vac and the rest of the house. You should first test the hose, then the inlets one by one. Drop a quarter into the handle of the hose and shake it through to the far end. If it comes out your hose is clear. Next mark a tissue with a number and **** it into the hose at each inlet, checking the bucket to see if teh tissue has claered the lines. If none of the tissue make it to the bucket, , get a shop vac, open the inlet nearest the vac and **** the obstruction backwards out the inlet. As blockage clears you will hear thinks moving in the pipe. Post back with results

I just bought a Z1750 twin tech vacuum. I am wondering if I can buy a power brush attachment for this. It only comes with the floor and "carpet" brush but does not have the beater bar (power brush).

I want to remove the hose from the handle of the vacuum? I already removed the plastic clip. I thought that would free the hose, but it did not. Any ideas?
