My farenheat fu54 heater just stopped working. Power to it is fine any suggestions on how to diagnose the problem

you said it has power, is it before or after the wire from the fuse you have checked, check the power wire that goes after the fuse. the fuse may need to replace, and if all is good and still does not work. check also the thermal cutout, This device protects the unit from overheating, it may already faulty (it may be always in off if its already faulty), here's other to look for , power supply, heating element, Power switches, thermo couple(if any), sensors..

Why is my pellet stove blowing fuse when plugged in

There can be several reasons. It would help me to know what make and model, but heres a start.....1} Make sure your using the correct fuse.2} Look for any debris or items which have entered the unit that could be shorting out the circuit. Also look for loose connections or wire spades that have come loose and shorted 3} Next see if the combustion and convection blower is turning freely. They should spin with ease. If in doubt, make a test cord from an old extension cord and try the blower directly by DISCONECTING it from the stove wiring and hooking the test cord to it then plug into a power strip carefully.4} Check the auger... Can you wiggle it around with your hand? If so then use the test cord in the same fashion as the blower. Augers tend to jam up and that can blow the fuse depending on the make of stove. 5} Look at the igniter and wire to assure that it is in visibly good condition. These are some good places to start. If none of these are help, it may be worth while to call a repair tech or manufacture help line. Be prepared for a long hold if you call during peak winter season. Good luck.

Amana Stove just stopped working

Could be the fuse in the back turn off the power and trace the wiring with a multimeter, when you stop getting continuity there is the fuse.
Good luck Ray

No power

Your stove should be on its own breaker or have its own fuse. Some models of stoves have fuses within their own control panels too. Check your home's panel to see if a breaker has been flipped or a fuse blown, and follow up with the owners manual for your make and model of stove.

WE have a GE Stove top Range. The burners aren't

If you have power to the stove as in the oven light works and the clock works but the burners and oven will not work you only have 120 volts coming to the stove. The stove requires 240 volts for the burners and oven to work. Check the service panel for a blown fuse. There will be 2 fuses in the fuse holder. One of them is blown. If that is not the case then one of the wires has come loose either in the service panel or in the outlet behind the stove. Use a multimeter to check the input voltage at the outlet.

Broil element just warm, bake element not working

Hey -have ya tried checking the power block on the back of the stove? This is the first thing I check when power appears to be uneven. Connections may be loose enough to disrupt power flow to the elements. If wires look good, the next step is to find out if the bake element has failed. From the back you can see the wires that attach to the element. Disconnect and check resistance.  should be around 17-19ohms. If not replace with new.  Please acknowledge this post if the info was helpful. Have more if needed  Thanks-- Ed

No power

If you mean absolutely no juice and haven't done so already, you need to check the breaker or fuse first. If the breaker/fuse is off flip the switch and try the oven. If the fuse trips again, you have a short someplace.

Obvious places would be the cord and outlet. To check these, turn the power off again and pull the stove out. Follow the cord and check it for broken areas areas. Then look at where it connects to the stove. Check the outlet and make sure that is intact.

If you see no problems with the outlet, the easiest way to check it without a tester is to simply plug another device into it.
