According to manufacture stnds, you should be fine as long as you have 2'' on the top between the cabinet, this is needed to allow for proper circulation
according to amana its best to insure your unit sits upto 2'' from the back wall as well but if you use a 1 x 1 on the floor of the back wall it should be enough

More than 1/8" for air circulation. should have at least an inch or two all around or it will get to hot from the compressor.

How much breathing space does a refrigerator need NONE, 1/2 inch or 1 inch above the top of the cabinet for air circulation. Sears has told me all 3. WHICH IS CORRECT?

For airflow it would be the back that needs clearance of a couple inches. Top of unit shouldn't matter. Inside the fridge itself if you plan on packing it as full as possible except for the amount space needed to allow airflow,. I would just atleast leave 1 inch on every side. But outside of fridge just leave clearance in back and front. Google manual and it will tell you

Years ago I purchased a Kinkead Vista-Pivot Shower Door, model 1500-31, Silver. For a variety of reasons the shower didn't get built until recently. However the door opening is now 32.5 inches wide so it...

Ace Hardware sells that door and you will need to see if they can order the parts but it looka like they sell the doors 36" size so when you order you will need to order for the Sterling Plumbing 1500D-36S "Vista Pivot" Shower Door Fits Openings 31 -1/4" To 36" H 66" . Now if you have not completely finished the shower you could always make the door opening fit what you have.

I am looking for the dimension and capacity of fridge 69852990

Measure Exterior Height & Width and Depth for Dimension.
Interior Space = Then, Measure all open accessible area inside the fridge and add the two together, following the formula of H+W+L Freezer and H+W+L Refrigerator, add together and BAM ya got cubic inches.= Square inches, then divide by 1,728 (the number of cubic inches in a foot (3) Cubed.
Example 1: 60 inches tall, 42 inches wide, 30 inches deep = 75600/1728 = 43.75 Cubic Foot AREA
Example 2: fREEZER dIMS = 24 DEEP x 18 HIGH x 36 WIDE =15552/1728 is 9 CuFt. Refridgerator 36 wide, 36 high 28 deep = 36,288/1728 = 21 CuFt. + 9 CuFt. = 30 Cubic Foot Capacity.

Can't reinstall meat drawer after cleaning

I think you'll have to move the fridge till you have the clearance to open the door all the way. Those drawers have to go straight in.

My Amana fridge is not able to get cold and I notice the back of the freezer box is covered in frost.I have thawed the fridge twice. Each time it works for 2 weeks then slowly frosts up and gets warmer.

The freezer is usually cooled by the compressor, the fridge is then cooled by an evaporator fan motor ($30). If this fan seizes or slows down then the fridge warms up (it sometimes starts squealing before this happens).

If you think it is the evaporator fan motor:
Check to be sure you can get a replacement fan first, they last about 4 - 5 years. Can get from a parts supplier or electric motor company.
UNPLUG fridge. Located usually in top of freezer behind a vented cover plate. Remove cover, remove screws holding fan in, may have to cut wires. Replace with new motor, make sure the fan pushes air into the freezer area and doesn't spin backward drawing air from the freezer area.

Our amana refrigerator is a BX21TL. Serial # 9809197207. It is approx. 8 years old. The freezer wont stay cold enough? I would guess it approx. 35-36 degree's... Help...

First is the refrigerator running constantly, if it is then it is probably low on freon also check that all the door seals are good as this can keep it from freezing properly. If it is not running constantly but running and shutting of and restarting as it should normally then you may have a bad cold (temperature) control shutting it off before it gets cold enough. Also check that there is clearance for the air to flow around the outside of the refrigerator as the evaporator coil transfers the heat from the refrigerator. This evaporator coil is usually mounted on the back of the refrigerator and needs to have unrestricted air flow. Be careful of electrical shock while working on it. Always unplug first you only get electrocuted once no second try.

After moving fridge (and waiting 36 hours) compressor won't start

You should worry , the 12 amps is a locked rotor on the compressor , it may be the over load relay control on the compressor as well , try replacing the over load start relay first , they are not expensive , if this does not fix it you can try installing a booster like a rco410 but the comp. can not take that abuse for years from the booster. when the comp. is running normal it will draw roughly 1.5 - 3.0 amps.

Clearance for Jenn-air counter depth

for proper air ciirculation its always good to have as much air circlation as possible that would in turn give your appliance longer life the least amount of space would be at least 2-3 inches all around.
