Where can i find a transformer for a squier 15watt practice amp.

For Fender parts and schematics, call Fender Customer Service at 800-856-9801. I will mention that the cost of replacing a transformer in a 15 watt Squier amp would lead me to just replacing the amp

DPS109SEL Power cord for unit

I am not familiar with that specific unit, but there are generally 2 kinds of power cord - an external transformer (or wall wart) with a plug that mates with a jack. If this is the case, there are several universal converters that provide multiple plugs. Look near the jack and there should be an indication of the input volts and amps needed - confirm polarity. The other type is a simple 110V line and the device has its own internal transformer. If that is the case, there is often a keyed jack for the power line to plug into - order a new line or devise a custom connector that you can insert before plugging in, make sure it fits snuggly and adequately seperates the individual wires.

Husqvarna Viking 980E power will not stay on.

Before you start messing around with splicing cords together etc and possibly wasting more money you need to find where the problem is.
Any reasonable electrician will be able to pinpoint where the fault lies, it could be something as simple as a blown fuse or loose wire in the 3 pin plug, or the fuse in the machines transformer. The transformer is accessed underneath the machine behind a plate held with four screws.
You do not need Viking any reasonable sewing machine guy can sort the problem.

I need a replaqcement trqansformer for my Starlogic monitor model # HD20W) the transformer is 120V -!2v 5A. Thanks for youyu help.

If the transformer puts out a simple 12 Volts regulated at 5 Amps, you should be able to go to any electronics parts distributor and order a regulated power supply at the mentioned specs. There are models that come enclosed with terminals on them. You can also buy the supply raw, wire the AC cord to it, get an enclosure for it, and wire the the 12 Volt output side to the TV as necessary.

If you are not experienced at doing this type of work, find an electronics type person to do this for you. If you confuse the polarity to the TV set, or not select the proper power supply, you can damage the TV set.

These power supplies are not very expensive. A new low cost one can cost about $60 to $80 US depending on the model type and rating. Professional high quality type supplies can cost a lot more.

Sometimes these supplies can be found slightly cheaper from electronics parts surplus dealers. I have seen them sold surplus for under $20.

Hello, I have a Mackie 1604 VLZ Pro from 1995. It's 110 volts and I want to change it to 220 volts. Do I need to buy a new transformer? I don't want to us an external step-down...

The LEAST expensive thing to do is to buy an external stepdown transformer.
Here is a link:

http://www.world-import.com/transformers.htm

The 100 Watt would be adequate... If you think you might need more you could have a reserve for other equipment... At around $8 USD I don't think you can beat that. The labor cost to change the internal transformer would cost many times what the external transformer costs, not to mention the cost on a new internal transformer.

After power surges have had 20 DCT6200 receivers that do not power up. Have replaced power supplies but only half the receivers work again. The other ones will not power up even after a new PS. Where is...

I think the transformer for the dct6200 is in the cable box... thats why there is no "box" on the power cord...
sadley that means the damage may be in the cable box and much harder to replace than if the transformer had been on the cord.

can you call the cable company and have them replace them?

HP Printing Mailbox InkJet Printer The printer will not turn on. We checked the power cord (with a meter) and it seems to be fine. Is there a reset button or fuse that I can check?

How much voltage does the power cord conduct to the meter? AC or DC (Transformer outside of printer) power supply?

If the power is good to the printer and the printer doesn't power up, just wiggle the connections to see if a bad connection exists on the printer.

If this doesn't solve the problem you may request service at hp.com's service & support site.

It may be determined that a new printer is indicated if the cost to repair is too high, or service parts are no long available for your printer.

D/A Raider Ham Tube Linear Amplifier, tube filaments overheat

This is not a transformer problem, it would blow fuses if transformer shorts out. It is hard to say, what could cause the problem without looking at the unit. But, you mentioned new power cord with grounding. That looks suspicious to me. Tyr to diconect grouding wire, and see if that helps.

Need to know which pole is positive and which is negative for honeywell transformer for alarm system (120VAC 60 HZ .30 AMPS)

If it is a VISTA or a LYNX then it doesn't matter as the transformer puts out AC current instead of DC. This is done so you can have very long wire runs of very thin wire without causing problems.

Think of your house power, it comes from the high tension lines over many dozens of miles and they power entire city sections (AC-Power). But if you're on DC (when the poles matter) such as in a car, you'll then need a HUGE wire just to run a subwoofer amplifier by itself. Yet power tools can run on a 50' extension cord that's 1/4 the thickness and be fine! the AC power delivery is much more efficient in that respect, and alarm systems usually have wire runs that span the whole house and they're usually all around 18 to 22 guage wire (very thin) to save on installation costs...
