Question about Kenmore Oasis HE 27082 Top Load Washer

1 Answer

I have the kenmore elite oasis he model # 28062. It is almost a year old and I have been noticing when it spins out it sounds like there are loose coins clanging around in it, but there is not and it is coming from the back of the machine. Do you know what it could be?

Overfilling loads can cause small objects like pins, coins, and small socks to get between the tub abd Basket of your washer.

The basket is held onto the rear half of the outer tub simply by the bolt to the main pulley.
Remove the bolt, remove the pulley, and the basket shaft should slip right out of the bearings of
the rear tub.

Simply shining a light around between the basket and outer tub should confirm that there is something in there, since you have access to do this with
the front tub removed. Go ahead, remove the pulley and bolt, and if
the basket comes out, then check everything out.

If it doesn't, don't try pounding it out; stop there and go to plan B, which is a new basket
and tub assembly.

Front - loader: Remove Bellow

Kenmore Elite Oasis HT makes loud noises during spin cycle.

The tub may be unbalanced and wobbling. This may be due to washing heavy items such as rugs, towels, etc. If it is noisy with regular laundry loads, the mechanism that supports the tub may be loose or broken.

Kenmore elite 110.2706 unbalanced load problems

I have the same problem with my washer though it is a Maytag. the part that grips the drum to spin it is stripping, (and not properly grabbing). Repair man said to just get a new but I'm sure if you find a dedicated enough repairman he may be able to replace that part. The repairman said to replace mine because it was over 8 years old.

When my washer is on the spin cycle it goes out of balence shuts down no matter wht size load or how i arange the load never completes the spin cycle this is a kenmore elite oasis 5 years old. #2 problem...

as for the washer there maybe a broken spring or where the spring attaches that balances the drum. look for this firest. for the dryer is it spinning around at the right speed if it is then the belt is ok. is it hot inside the dryer after running it when you open the door. if ti is check the dryer vent hose and exterior door at end of hose to see it they are plugged up . if the hose is plugged up the heat and moisture can't excape and the clothes will take a long time to dry.
