Question about Whirlpool GS460 Gas Kitchen Range
You may have to replace the thermocouple/glowbar found in the oven.
Most newer gas stoves have a glow bar ignition source.
Once the glow bar reaches the correct temperature the gas burner is then feed gas and ignites. The thermocouple probe is preset to turn on the gas flow once the correct temperature is reached from the glowbar.
Use extreme caution with gas appliances.
If you are not comfortable doing this yourself.
Have a licensed repairman do this work.
You can check the glowbar and thermocouple to make sure no foreign substance is blocking their ability to function.
Some gas ranges have two of these: one in the oven and one in the broiler.
Some only have one in the broiler back of the stove.
Both styles will be set a few mm away from the gas burner.
PS. if the glowbar is functional but does not have the correct resistance.
The oven will not come on. This is a safety issue.
Hope this helps!

Sounds like you have a bad gas ignitor. It is under the bottom plate and sits on the burner and is held in with 2 1/4 inch screws.8273075 should be the part number for your ignitor....the model number you gave is incomplete so it's hard to tell but hopefully that will help you out
