Re: in dash tv brake bypass

I'm not familiar with that particular model but with most parking brake circuits you just connect it to a negative ground to bypass it. Hope this helps

How can u bypass the protect on a kicker 500.1 amp??

Theres not really a way to bypass that. You have wires touching that shouldn't be touching, bad ground (id take your ground and clean any paint or dirt around it or find totally diff ground), or connector somewhere. Fix that and you should be good to go.

You have to cut the factory speaker wires on both sides of the amp and solder them together.(bypass the amp) Pull out the factory radio so you can identify the color of the speaker wires or look at the wire colors on the back of the factory speakers.

Movie wont play

The Stereo is looking for a ground signal on the parking brake wire. It's a safety feature so that you are not watching movies while driving. To bypass this you will need to connect the stereo's parking brake to ground.

My alpine five channel amp got fried and on checking i found a small eight pin IC burnt in the power to bypass it?

There is no way to do a bypass without afecting other functions on the AMP. What you can do is try to get the numbers printed on it in order to get a replacement. You may also find it on the diagram but it is a little bit difficult if you do not know how to read it. Next time post the model number for easier reference.

I have the all tube Crate TV-120. When I turn it on it fires up fine. When I switch the standby on I get a loud whistle sound and can hear a humming from the speakers. I can also get a low guitar volume...

This is a guess: I suspect the bypass switch on that effects loop jack is causing a problem. These jacks cause a lot of problems. The switch passes the signal through if there is no plug for an effects in the jack.

You can SOMETIMES tighten up the contact to restore the jack. You have to disassemble teh unit to get at it of course.

My tv monitor stop working on my suburban I dont know what fuse to check

Is it a factory unit? If so under the dash panel. If it was aftermarket your installer could have put it anywhere between the power source and the monitor. I would check the power at the monitor first with a voltmeter as the monitor may have just went bad. If no power there you willl need to trace the wires to where they connect to your 12v battery power.

Amp turns off

Sounds like remote turn on wire is bad. If using aftermarket HU, find another location to power amp. Try the the power antenna wire on the HU to run the REM.

Toyota camry 1993 model- fujitsu car radio

You are going to have to remove the center console, remove the screws, this should make the dash screws visible. Remove those. You'll have bolts on the bottom of your dash, below your steering wheel. Remove those. There'll be screws underneath that remove them. You should have clips all the way across your dash. You'll have to probably remove any knobs on your dash. But your whole left side dash will have to be removed. If you are uncomfortable with this; please consult car audio dealer for help. Once you have your dash removed, unclip your wires running to your dash lights. You should be able to pry the center of your dash off now. Find the screws holding your radio in. Now you should be able to replace your radio. Let me know if you have any further issues...
