Subwoofer channel no longer has output

Is your sub powered (amplifier built-in)? If so, connect your MP3 player directly to the sub input and see if you hear audio. If you do hear audio, check for cable problems from Panasonic to sub input. If the sub is unpowered then it's either the speaker wiring, an intermittent sub and/or your Panasonic at fault.

Inspiron 1720 no power

Remove main battery and try again, next! sub out the ram memory one at a time and test, have the power supply adapter checked for voltage output, if okay! the DC jack in the laptop is a common source of trouble, "from intermittent operation to no power" at this point the laptop must be dismantled to investigate further.

Popping harman kardon subwoofer

Mine did the same thing all of a sudden. The problem is a AC mains detection circuit that seems to affect many previous HK sub models. The solution that worked for me was to replace capacitor C112 on the main pcb of the subwoofer amplifier. You need to remove it from the circuit board with a soldering gun and replace it with a higher rated capacitor. I used a 2u2 40v and the subwoofer is working perfectly again! :)

I get a pop from the sub when the power comes on.

This is caused because the stereo you have put in, is a high power output, or higher than the factory and puts that extra power into the factory amp systems causing the amp to surge the power to the speaker resulting in the pop sound, most newer cars use a stereo system without an internal amp so as to reduce heat and a external amp in usually under a seat or dash and a high power stereo boost the output of the amp.

Crackles and pops, even in standby mode

Does it only pop and crack when its connected to your amp or receiver ? i have the same thing with my sub [its not cerwin vega] but when i turn my amp off the sub doesnt pop anymore so i think my amp is the problem not the sub , yours might be the same problem .

Bass pops

Hi There, Have you checked the 3 fuses that clip onto the main amp board? You can access them by undoing the two screws that are on the top and the bottom of the sub. They have flat large heads and you will need a hex key to unscrew them. If it is one of the fuses that has gone it will either be discoloured as in burnt or you will see the metal inside has split. Simply replace these with a new fuse and hey presto you should have eradicated the popping. If you need any parts for the sub or fuses then www.LondonSpeakerShop.com will be able to supply them (that is if you're in the UK). Hope this helps. Grant (from www.LondonSpeakerHire.com)

NO SUB OUTPUT

The sub outputs are simply lowpass filtered preamp outputs for use with a subwoofer amplifier. They supply a lowpass filtered signal for a subamp or 'powered subwoofer" like a bazooka tube. Test your "basstube" for 12 volt input power and make sure the "sub" setting on the radio is turned up too.
