Mouse broke replaced with a K-mart brand. Can't control arrow

Mouse got broken and replaced with a K-mart brand. Have a dell computer. Mouse will not keep up with the movement. Constantly struggling to get the arrow to go where I want it. How do I fix this problem. Is there something I can do with the mouse to make it work or do I need to get a dell mouse?

Find your way into control panel and check mouse settings I believe the middle mouse button is adjusted there. The details are different with each brand of mouse but this should point you in the right direction.

So my problem with my dell mouse is that one day i had installed a program and out of no where my mouse just stopped working like it wasnt even on and so did my dell keyboard for my other dell computer and...

If you have a different mouse that you can use for a few minutes, you can get online, google or whatever search engine that you prefer, and search your mouse model number/brand, etc. You should be able to find on the results list a site you can download/check for missing drives. If you are using a windows program you can check there also. Tell it to check for any missing drives and depending on which windows you have, i think you can do to settings, devices, right click on the dell mouse, and see if it lists something along the lines of checking for missing software, drives, etc. Sometimes it will take you to the site or it will check itself and download them itself. Another thing to try is going straight to dell website, type in product name/model into search box along with 'owners manual' or 'software' key words like that and look around the site. If all else fails find a hotline for dell product on their site. If its a wireless mouse its possible the piece that attaches into the USB port could have broken its chip the sends/receives its signals. In that case you would have to get a new one. That happened to me. Not dell mouse tho. But they pretty much all work the same. If none of this works; I'd re-evaluate the possibility that replacing the broken device may be easier lol. But if you have the time to look around in your computer or online I'm sure any amateur can find n fix it; that's how i learned everything i know- wiki-how to, YouTube, google, and just plain old trial and error ;)

Mouse not working

You can use Mousk. With Mousk you can use the arrow keys as mousepointer and some other keys as the left and right mouse buttons.
Not a replacement for a mouse but at least you can navigate your computer.

Arrow wont move

Dear Fayereid01,

You said "I have a dell computer and when I turn it on to the desktop the arrow wont move to go any further its a desktop with a IBM keyboard"

Make sure that the mouse is plugged into the the correct port. If the mouse you are using is a USB mouse then try other USB ports. If it is another type of mouse that uses a different plug, then try all the ports on your computer that it fits into until it works. It sounds unprofessional but it should work.

If none of this works then put in the CD that should of come with you mouse and install the drivers for your mouse. If you cant find the disc for your mouse then go online to the manufacturers website and you should be able to download the drivers there.

If i was helpful please rate me positively
