Your evaporator coils frost up in normal use and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.

Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing it out with hot water and clorox may help.
Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.

How do I fix the ice maker fill tube that popped off of the back of the frig? I have a GSS25LSWA SS GE frig. I tried to stick the tube back in and get the adhesive to hold but i keep getting trickles of...

Make sure that there is not an ice build up inside the maker at the point where the water enters. The fill tube should not be under pressure. When water is called for a blockage will cause it to leak.

How can i turn off the water function on the door but not the ice, the water line keeps leaking on the back of the frig

When I had this problem the water was coming from the top right rear where the water tube feeds the ice maker. The water line INSIDE the frig that feeds the ice maker occasionally freezes up causing an obstruction which causes the water to leak out the rear. This can only happen when the icemaker activates the water feed. You can remove the tube fitting without fear because the valve that feeds water through the line is at the bottom rear of the unit. If the line is frozen inside I remove the ice bin and tray and use a hair dryer to melt the ice.
I have a similar problem with the condenser fan making a tapping/clacking noise which is also a result of ice building up on that. Wish I had a different frig but for now the hair dryer will have to do.

The inside of freezer is leaking from back wall - there is no ice maker. water that leaks is freezing and taking up space. what can be causing this

the drain line is clogged causing the ice build up .the frig has to defrost every 6 to 8 hours so every time it defrosts is when it will leak ..you will have to defrost the frig manually ..turn it off. open the doors. let it defrost. remove the thick ice on the bottom ..after its defrosted take the bottom an back panel off.. un plug frig first !! drainline is in the back in the middle of the freezer. unclogg it hot water or shop vac be carefull good luck!! drain line should go to a pan under the frig, in the back make sure it drains before putting back together

Water is leaking from bottom of frig, supply line is fine. Its seems to be comming from the front end of frig

Check the drains. It may have been clogged by particles from the food accumulated over time. It may also be from the ice that may have accumulated inside, at the panel at the back.

Water is forming on the floor. Appears the water is pooling under the crisper drawer, then seeps through the seal. GE TBX 18CI. Any ideas?

You should not have any water at all forming inside the frig compartment unless you have a water dispenser on the frig. The water resevoir is located in the frig compartment at the bottom behind crisper. There may be a small leak or loose water connection on it. Hope this helps.

Water leaking into fridge

When your frig defrosts the water should go outside to the pan on bottom but it ain't cause the drain is stopped up. So the water just floods the ice box. Solution: Clear dat popcycle paper clogged drain up . Use some hot water to flush out dat drain.

Leaking water

test: first, turn off water supply to frig. then dry up all water. then ensure frig is running at right temperature. now gradually turn on water and observe where leak is. My guess is it is overflowing the ice-maker. there is an adjustment for this. pop off the cover over the end of the ice-maker. look for a screw adjustment. turn it counterclockwise.
