Rca P60920BL starts steady chirping when plugged in

This is usually the flyback transformer (IHVT-integrated high voltage transformer) and the HOT( horizontal output transistor) The transistor will read shorted, with a multimeter, if it is bad. It is mounted to a heatsink straight back from the flyback. It may have a metal clip that holds it tight to the heatsink.
It is a pretty easy fix if you can solder.
While you have the board out, check for any discolored resistors and replace those as they will likely fail before long and cause more problems. Also check with a bright light and a magnifier for cracked solder joints and resolder any that you find.

RCA P60920BL wont power up makes clicking sound

This is a chassis PTK195 and acommon fault with these sets, that causes the symptom you describe, is the flyback transformer goes bad.
If you're at all familiar with electronic repair you could start checking there (and horizontal output transistor shorts). If not have an RCA approved warrany repairer give you an estimate/service call.
Note: the good thing about these sets is the chassis is very common and easily removed for service (without bringing in the whole set.) .
Usual cost to repair flyback/ dead set symptoms $200-$350.

Delayed video, audio comes first

It's normal for Sony TVs to have a delay in the video. The screen stays blanked until the circuitry in the set has decided that the picture tube is operating correctly. The screen can remain blanked due to a number of causes. Bad solder connections or components in the vertical output stage are common. Also, Sony sets automatically adjust some tube voltages. If the tube has aged enough or component values in the set have changed and the adjustments don't keep the values in the correct range, the screen will blank out. Intermittent components or connections in the set's video stages or source switching can cause screen blanking. Unfortunately, this is one of the tougher Sony problems to troubleshoot. It usually requires the schematic and an oscilloscope to track down.

Distorted picture on screen

Projection sets have two very common problems.

The first common problem is convergence

These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. This is called convergence.

When its out of alignment the video will look 3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired. Convergence problems are very common on all Projection TV sets including Sony, Samsung,JVC,Philip Magnavox,Panasonic,Akai,Pioneer, Hitachi,Mitsubishi,Zenith and others.
You can get more information and a DIY convergenece repair kit with instructions from the link below.

Here are some of the most common problems with these sets...

*Screen Looks 3-D
*Colors wont align
*Screen may look distorted or warped
*No Audio/Video - TV Shuts down - May also make a constant chirping sound

Problem #2 - Another common problem is dull or washed out video.

Your set may have one or more of the following symptoms....

*Dull looking picture
*White looking picture
*Halos around objects
*Red/Orange looking picture

Intermittent audio...picture fine

Does this model have a headphone jack? If so, plug a pair of headphones or external speaker into the jack, turn the volume to an acceptable listening level and see if the problem goes away. If so, the headphone jack may be bad.
