Tip wear can be advanced by too close or far of a working gap and also by using to high current for required work.

2005 jaguar VDP 4.0L. Very hard start. Have replaced map and crank sensor, egr valve and intake.

in what way is it hard to start does the engine turn over fast or slow, fast is low compression in the piston chambers slow can be the battery or the starter motor wearing out. ( starter motor has bushes to turn the motor these wear out and cannot turn the engine over fast enough to start.

How to Shorten a Bike Chain?

You need to buy a link extractor, really really cheap.
Check the chain for a fast release link, they look different from the other links and pop it open or remove the sliding clip.
Figure out how much chain you want to remove then lay it in the link machine, lining up the link pin with the tip of the screw plunger and turn the screw plunger pin (it may be difficult at first but pile on the pressure and it will push the pin out)
Reattach the fast link to both ends of the chain and it's done.

Does traction control system cause tires to wear out faster

No, Traction control only engages when slippery conditions exist. So unless you live in the snow belt or drive on wet muddy dirt roads you may likely never experience a traction control engagement.

IS IT NORMAL THAT THE TIRES THAT WERE ON THE CAR (ALL 4 OF THEM) ARE USED TO THE SAFETY LINE AFTER 12,000 KM? tHE BRAND IS Goodyear eAGLE 18 IN. WHEEL

If these are performance Eagle tires, then they have a very soft tread to allow excellent handling. Lower profile tires also wear faster as they have less sidewall flex. If you look up the tire in Goodyear's listing and find it has no treadwear warranty, then it is because it is a performance tire and as such will wear out based upon the driving style used on it. Fast cornering and quick start/stops wear tires out fast under any condition, but performance tires often don't see more than 10-20k miles depending upon the driver. You pay for performance.

How do i adjust the sensitivity on my nailer right now you have to hit the tip really hard to get it to fire and it is very hard to use i have switched triggers and that fixed nothing it is a bostitch coil...

Usually the pin on the tva6 valve is worn (slightly shorter). You could replace the valve or try adjusting the safety foot to pusher the inner part of the trigger higher into the valve. If you have a green tva6 valve the pin is usually plastic and wears fast. The new tva6 white valves have a metal pin and works better. Good luck.

Compressor drops to 80 lbs when sandblasting, should hold 110lbs.

The air pressure on your system is actually controlled by the orifice size at the tip. The tip wears very fast and the air pressure will drop accordingly. Install a new tip and retest pressure. The only way to increase pressure as the tip wears is to increase the rpm of the motor/engine. Also check for leaks in the system. If possible, start out with a smaller tip and lower engine rpm a bit then increase rpm as the tip wears. You can also play with the grit size as the tip wears. Slightly larger grit/sand will work better as the tip size increases and pressure drops. Good luck with you sandblasting project.
