How to replace the gas valve coil (part number 279834) on a Kenmore dryer?
Remove the two screws onder the dryer lint cover
slide a putty knife between top and cabinet
should feel a clip on each side,, just push in and pop it up
once the top is up on each side about an inch down where the front lips the sides you will see a 5/16 screw remove those
list the door up off the bottom dogs turn to the right and out of your way, carefull of the wires thats the door switch.
look right in front on the bottom to the right
there is your gas valve and coils
as you can see they are held down by two philips screws remove those and remove the cover
care ful to mark the nodes on the coils on has two one has three
replace one at a time makeing sure the orientation is correct,, two up three down whatever you had
DONT FORGET TO PLUG THEM BACK IN
back your way out of the machine your edaone
