Sounds like your computer is having difficulty reading the disc.
Try ejecting the disc and re-inserting when this message pops up.
If this fails, try cleaning the disc. Most game stores or video stores will buff it for you for a small fee.
If this fails as well, then it could be your settings.
Does your computer have all the needed requirements to run the game? Is it compatible?
If your answers are yes, then it could be that the disc is bad...try different settings, and the aforementioned ideas and if these all fail I would try and return the disc.

Hello,
With windows 7 or vista it is very simple. Insert the empty disc in the tray. After a few second you should get a pop up asking you what you will lie to do. Chose burn files to the CD/DVDA window should open up. All you need to do now is drag and drop the files or folders to that windows.Once your done, hit the Eject button and windows will prepare the disc and you done!

I just bought my son a new game for our wii which we havent hooked up in a long time. when we enter the disc it pops up with unable to read disc

Be sure you are putting the disk in in the correct direction. I do that all the time where I put it in the wrong way. The labeled part of the disk should be to the outside of the wii.

DVD is not recordable, Acer Extensa 5420

Just put in the blank dvd without trying to burn anything to it and see
if your pc see's the blank dvd, if not find one that is recognized by your pc. After you put in a blank dvd, it should show under my computer in the drive and should be able to open it like a folder, or
windows will pop up a little window that ask's if you would like to burn anything to the dvd.

I have a cd of photos- where do I put it to look at the [pictures and where do I go on line ?

For you to view pictures located on a CD, you will place the disc in your CD-Rom drive of your computer. If you are running Windows XP, it should pop up a window that asks what would you like to do with this disc. At the bottom of this window it should offer you an option to either view files or if it recognizes that you only have pictures on the disc, it may offer you the chance to open your picture viewer from there. If the window doesn't pop up then you will need to double click on "My Computer" icon on your desktop, in the my computer window, double click on the "Drive" that corresponds with your CD-Rom drive, probably going to be "D" drive. This should open the contents of the disc. By double clicking on one of the pictures it should open your default picture viewer for you to view them.

I have a windows 98 disc, and when i put in the code, it says it on good put it came with the disc

Your sentence didn't make sense, but if you are trying to add the product code, it is on the sticker. This should be on your computer tower /desktop. Please enter the numbers and letters correctly and make sure you have the zero's and o's correct. You may be putting in a letter O when it should be a ZERO 0.
