The cold water line now takes a long time to fill for a rinse. Yes, I checked the hose to its wall outlet.

FYI, Only 3 potential issues would typically cause this problem.... in order of simplicity to correct:
1. Clogged screen in the water connector(s). Remove the cold water line going to the washer - both ends. Inspect and clean the screen(s) and blow through the hose to varify that it is clear.
2. Solenoid that allows water into the washer is failing. Reverse the cold and hot hoses. Does the problem move to the hot side? If so, the problem is the solenoid-replace it.
3. If number 2 does follow the hose transfer, the faucet washer has broken and is blocking the water flow. SHUT off the water supply to the house, open another faucet to relieve the water pressure, replace the washer in the cold water shut off valve at the wall.

Very slow cold water flow at the beginning of wash and rinse cycl

There might be some debris in the cold water valve screen. Remove cold water hose and check the valve screen, clean as necessary. BTW some hoses have screen inserts too, so check the hose as well.

Good luck,

I have an frigidaire front load Mod.# GLTF2940ESO with an recurring E10 error message. HELP!!

E10 code indicates there is no water supply. This can be confirmed by :
  1. Shut off the faucet to stop water supply to the washer.
  2. Disconnect and pulling the supply hose off the washer to confirm the E10Code
    • Opening the faucet and watch for running water

E10 also means that your cold water is coming in too slow, disconnect the cold water hose and check to see if the screen on your washing machine is clogged. If the screen is clean and the hose has good pressure then you will need to replace the water valve on your machine--- this is the piece that the hoses directly connect to.

Does not appear to take in cold water.only hot.

Turn cold supply faucet off, remove cold hose from washer (catch water in hose), and place hose end in bucket. Turn the cold water faucet on again--should have good supply of water. If not, check for plugged inlet screen at faucet end of hose. If everything is ok, then probable defective cold water solenoid valve inside machine. Check water inlet at machine to see if it has a screen that might be plugged.

Very slow cold water fill, why?

First make sure that you have adequate water flow from the hose bib coming from the wall. You can do this by turning off your cold water connection at the wall, then disconnect the cold water hose. Then turn the faucet on and make sure the water flows freely. The most common reason for your problem is a clogged screen where the cold water hose connects to the back of the washer. To check this, disconnect the cold hose from the back of the washer and clean the small screen inside the cold water inlet on the washer.
