Question about Sub-Zero 650 / O Bottom Freezer Refrigerator
The drawer will not move at all. We recently have had some ice build up on the back of the rails. So I suspect ice and ice maker. Is there a valve I can change? If yes where is it?
I'm going to thaw and see if that frees the drawer.
Chances are it is frozen stuck and also needs lubrication. Do this. Unplug it for an hour and try the drawer. If it doesnt open wait another half hour and try it again. When it does open, dry the rails thoroughly with a towel and then a hair blow dryer. Finally spray the rails with a lubricating spray like WD40 or better yet some white lithium lubricating grease, both products readily available at any hardware store, home depot, etc.

Look at both those tracks on each side. its likely one or both are cracked or broken. Each one has 2 screws holding it in. To put the metal hange back in the tracks, you must get new tracks (if broken/cracked) then hold the2 tracks onto the bucket carriage...then stick thewhole thing in as an assembly, hen put the 4 screws back in. there are 2 more small screws way in the back (one on each side), but they do not have to be removed, only there to guide the racks in properly. these tracks are only about 7 bucks apeice, and shouldn't take long to chamge. Good Luck!

SOURCE: ICE MAKER SUB ZERO REFIGERATOR
Check water turned on. check ice button switch turned on in fridge. remove juice storage, ice container in freezer, check ice bucket full white plastic flapper to make sure not stuck on a white peg at top. flapper must hang down and be freely movable to signal ice maker to keep busy. If up high will turn off ice maker. Lots of other parts especially heater circuits involved also: fill tube supply heater not working then frozen supply line then no ice. Look for wiring diagram in ziplock behind compressor grille. can order parts at repairclinic.com. logical design, layout, easy to get to sensors, heaters. makes sense if look at it long enough.

SOURCE: water puddles under the drawers
You have a blocked defrost drain look at item 56 in this picture. you need to clear this drain either with hot water or clear ice that may have accumulated in the trough. to me it looks as if there is possibly a cover over this area so you will need to remove drawers and shelves to get to it. message me back here with any comments or questions.. You can fix this yourself!! thanks Peyton

SOURCE: Sub-Zero 642 ice maker
When the drawer is opened, trhe "full arm" swings up and out of the way. When the drawer is pushed back closed, the arm should swing back down. If it is unobstructed, the icemaker should make ice.
One thing to try is with the ice tray removed, push the plate (that holds the ice tray) back into the freezer. Lift the full arm up and down. It should easily move and you should be able to hear a slight "click" when moving up/down. If not, you might have a bad switch in the ice maker unit...replacement time.
