Question about OKI C3530N Color MFP Printer

1 Answer

I purchased a "new" recycled cartridge for my HP 2200d. I have the correct cartridge but it prints so light you cannot read it. I put another "new" one that is also recycled in the printer and it is doing the same thing. What gives?

In the setup there are a option for more toner on print or you have to put a handle in the printer for darker prints mostally where you put the cartridge in
a recycled cartridge works allways the same as a new one

What is the replacement printer for HP Laser Jet

This document provides information about replacing the print cartridge for the HP LaserJet 1010 printer series, including life expectancy and replacement instructions. Print cartridge life expectancy The life of the print cartridge depends on the amount of toner that your print jobs require. When printing text on letter/A4-size paper at five percent coverage, the print cartridge lasts an average of 2,000 pages. This assumes that you set the print density to three and disable EconoMode. (These are the default settings.) See Ordering supplies for information on ordering replacement print cartridges. Changing the print cartridge Follow the below instructions to change the print cartridge:
  1. Open the print cartridge door, and remove the old print cartridge. See the recycling information inside the print cartridge box. Figure 1: Removing old print cartridge c00028312.gif CAUTION: To prevent damage, do not expose the print cartridge to light. Cover it with a piece of paper.

Nor printing

Go to http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00453087.pdf which is the HP online manual for this printer. Open it and go to page 92. Follow the recommended troubleshooting steps carefully.
Note: It is likely that the cartridge you installed is "dry". Or (and this one is no fun) the cartridge you purchased is not compatible with the 5940. Does the left-side panel of the wrapper carton have a listing of "5940" under the paragraph HP Deskjet ?

Also, if you purchased a store-refilled or store-recycled cartridge, it may not work. I had this happen once with a refill. Sorry, but you'll have to dispose of the recycled cartridge and purchase the reall HP deal.

2200d hp laserjet

The green flashing light lets you know that the machine is recieving data. This is completely normal, however, the red (Attention) light can mean several things. There can be a door open, missing toner cartridge, out of paper, or paper jam. In this cause it is probably the toner cartridge. Typically on these machines there is an Orange or Green tab on the side of the toner cartridge that needs to be pulled to fully engage the cartridge. You may want to make sure this has been pulled and the cartridge has been properly seated.

Hope this helps...let me know if you need any further assistance
