Question about Lite On LVW-5045 DVD Recorder
When copying vcr tape to dvd on some tapes is just stops in middle and cant go forward or back think it says sn1 but cant see it very well.
I did about 20 old tapes I had of trips and xmas with my kids and they all did fine except about 4 stopped and would not run any more
I think the problem with the tapes stopping is that there is too much tension on the tape. Try another VCR and try to see if you have the same problem playing the tape. Forward and reverse through the part that causes the player to stop. It is also possible that the tape inside the vcr has become twisted or stuck. One can fix this if they are very careful opening the video tape. However, I would not recommend this for most people
