Hi,

The eyepieces should be easily available through any good selsi agent. If they don't stock them they should be able to order them for you..

Need to replace the rubber buttons on the top of goggles right under the name. On of the covers is torn, but they both appear to be one piece.

Hello. Check with Night Owl. They are located in El Paso, TX. Look in the catalog with
Dig-Key, Mouser, Allied or you can search the internet. Such as, "rubber coated momentary switches" or "rubber coat on/off switches" There are hundred of thousand switch that are manufactured. Normally on these rubber coated switches the covering is glued on the switch, it can be removed. There another idea, just replace it with a better switch, and many different switch are made. I hope this helps. stewbison

The rubber coating is tacky to the touch, and the O-ring in the eye piece has rolled out. This is on a BSA Contender 6x24x50.

Unfortunately this sounds like the scope coating was exposed to some petroleum based product.

Hand or Suntan lotions, bug repellants or certain types of cleaning solutions.. even the vapors from them can cause rubber to destabilize.

Eyecups for your eyepieces can be bought on-line at several retailers.

The steam spout (pannarello) will not stay on

there is a rubber sleeve inside, and also a hard plastic olive (like a wedding ring). When tightened, the hard olive compresses the rubber sleeve and it grips.
If you lose the plastic olive, the rubber remains uncompressed and the pannarello will blow off.
The olive is about the size of a wedding ring for a person with a 5mm finger (impossible I know - but the shape is like a tiny black wedding band all the same.).

Replacement parts for Tasco binoculars

You'll need to measure your eyepiece in "mm". Also determine if your eyepiece has an outer ring the eyepiece will slip over. You can find eyecups/guards on Ebay. Search under Binocular Eyecup or Binocular Eye Guard. There are also eyecups under "rubber eyecups/rubber eyeguards" but alot of these are for Microscopes and may not fit. You will need to pay close attention to the mounting type and measurements.

you have to take off the back plastic part of the camera carefully. I snapped it off carefully. Then you take off 2 black screws at the eye piece and insert the rubber. screw back together. snap plastic back on and screw in all the screws. have fun!
