If the channel icon is greyed out and you cannot tune the channels press the TV/DTV button on the remote control unit so that the icon is visible again and not greyed out. This will allow you to tune the TV.

My 19ld350 lost signal and will not retune

If the video inputs still work, give it to someone for use with a satellite, cable box, video games, dvd, etc. but if it truly needs a tuner, a 19" TV is usually not worth a main board replacement.

How to retrieve lost channels on digital tv

To restore missing channels, you need to retune your digital receiver (box or TV).

The retuning process runs a scan and finds all the available channels. Your box may have an Add New Channels option that you can use, but this may not pick up other changes such as channels being moved to a different multiplex or removed altogether.
How to retune
  1. Switch on your digital box and/or TV.
  2. Press Menu on the remote control.
  3. Select the Setup or Installation option.
  4. Select the 'First time installation' option (sometimes called 'Factory reset', 'Full retune' or 'Default settings').
  5. Press OK if your equipment asks if you want to delete all your channels. Don't worry, this is normal.
  6. If you are prompted for a code, try 0000 or 1234.
  7. Channels will be automatically installed. This may take a few minutes and your equipment may shut down and restart.
  8. After retuning, you will have to redo your Favourites list and other settings. If you retune a digital TV recorder, you also should reset future recordings.

I have lost ITV1 and Channel 4 following the recent digital retune. How do I get them back? My postcode is W12 9NE.

The Sagem PVR 6280 is specifically listed as a model which will have problems with the retune.

See theaddress below for a chart of affected models, but the official advice isthat you must contact Sagem directly on 0845 0900 316 for either an overthe air update or an update DVD depending upon the manufacturer.

Retune video recorder

You may lose some channels when you retune the TV as the channels have been rearranged. To locate them look at the EPG although you may still find that some channels are no longer available on FREEVIEW. See the following link for additional information

http://www.freeview.co.uk/_retuneinfo/

If the above process does not work then check the link above for additional information and also visit the accompanying site links below to find more information for your model of TV / FREEVIEW box.

For troubleshooting the retune procedure visit http://tvretune.co.uk/troubleshooting/
