Question about Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 Digital Camera
I have a Panasonic G1 with a Lumix 14-45 lens. The only object I can't focus on correctly is the full moon. If I use manual focussing, however slowly I turn the focus ring, I reach a point at which the moon is not in focus, but becomes less focussed in whatever direction I turn the ring. Autofocus works properly only if the moon is surrounded with clouds. What am I doing wrong?
I would like to add that I have made successful photo's of the moon with other - less sophisticated - camera's
Full moon is very bright, so you are probably seriously over-exposing your image......not enough contrast in there for the camera to focus on.
Under expose in small increments until the camera can latch onto to the image accuratley.
