Question about Advent Netbook
Go to the device manager and look for your network adapters. click on the plus sign by network adapters if there is one and see if there is a wireless adapter listed. If there is, right click on it and see if it is enabled. then check the drivers tab and see if there is a driver listed for it. I am not aware of a switch for wireless, but there may be a an Fn + "F" key combination.
If all else fails, go back to the wireless card if there is one listed and highlight it, right click on it and choose uninstall. reboot the machine but instruct it to keep the drivers, we just want to force a reinstall of the device and drivers so we reset the settings.
