Hi, This sounds like a serious issue that may require you take your system in for hardware troubleshooting. In order for me to assist you, I am going to need a lot more detail. 1) What kind of system do you have? 2) What kind of noise are you hearing? 3) Have you experienced any other issues with this system? 4) have you added, removed, or modified anything in this system? Please be detailed in your response. Thanks, James O'Brien

My desktop computer will display anything when turned on, and the fan and hardrive both make a loud constant noise.

Maybe you need a larger power supply depending on if you might have added more hardware such as a graphics card, or an extra monitor to your system. This sometimes results in an inefficient supply of power, making your fan to your power supply work harder, thus making noise.

I was watching a video online when my laptop just shut down and turned off without warning. When I attempted to turn my laptop back on, it began making a high pitched noise! I turned off my laptop and...

To avoid this when watching a movie or lots of video's prop up your laptop with pencil or something else small and slender under the back. Just so the laptop isn't flush with the table or desk. You want airflow under the laptop. It shut down because of overheating to protect itself. Watch videos/movies can be very cpu/video card intensive driving up the temperature. My PC desktop is making a clicking noise

Assuming the 'clicks' are heard when you're on the net...it could be a page in the background updating its 'ad' or auto 'clicking' to another page (within the main page on a different frame). This happen alot on hotmail pages ads using 'Flash'.

You can turn the volume off while surfing until you need to listen to something & turn your volume back on. (I do)

Hope this throws some light on the issue
Good Luck!

I have a dv 2000 and when you turn it on it makes two load noises and it does not start up blank screen but the computer is running....

Noises usually come from moving parts; Fans, and Hard drives are the most likly. I would open the side of the computer and determine which part was making the noise.
