Re: trojan horse-zlob.x_a

Hello install this program from here:

And reboot after the install is done.
The program will kill the autorun file, when you boot again.

This is also the best free malware/trojan remover available !!!!

Install also a better free antivirus program like this:

Please uninstall any old antivirus program, before you install
Microsoft Security Essentials.
Your windows version must be valid, to use Microsoft Security Essentials .

You might have to scan for virus, in failsafe mode by pressing F8, while the pc boots.

Good luck

How to remove autorun.inf in your flash drive or hard disk

Sometimes for virus or trojan horse you may difficulties opening your drives. Your autorun.inf is infected if you find any abnormal language when you right-click on a drive. This autorun.inf file is hidden and you will not see the file even though you select to show your all files from Folder Options.

1. Goto Start --> Run and type cmd then click OK.
2. If you want to remove the infected file from drive C: then type C: then press Enter.
3. Type "autorun.inf" and press Enter.
4. Type "del autorun.inf" then press Enter. The file is in the drive but not showing or you can't delete it now.
5. Now type "attrib autorun.inf -s -h -r" and press Enter.
6. Now delete the file by typing "del autorun.inf" and press Enter.
7. Restart the computer.

Good Luck!

Autorun.inf open error in flash drive

open My Computer, and right click on "explore" to get your files. Then install a good anti-virus program, such as Avast! Anti-virus ( and clean off your (possibly) infected hard drive and computer.

How can I remove trojan horse called Zlob.Gen?

and search for "MRT".

This is the Microsoft "Malware Removal Tool".
Download it, and run it.

However, once a computer has been infected, the *ONLY* 100%-sure way of remediating it is to backup all your files, verify the backup, WIPE the hard-drive, and re-install Windows.

Compare it to the police returning a stolen automobile to you.
It may have "hidden" problems that make it unsafe to drive,
i.e., sugar in the gas-tank, no oil in the transmission.

It also may have drugs hidden in the car -- cross an international border, and the drug-sniffing dog will find the drugs, and create a BIG problem for you.

So, to be "safe", follow best practises -- "flatten-and-rebuild".

HINT: It might be best to buy a new, faster, bigger, disk-drive,
remove the old disk-drive, and install to the new hard-drive.
