You have to convert the cassette's analog audio to digital. Get a Behringer UCA 202 for $30 on Amazon.

Copying VCR cassette to CD

Seems the DVD is only a player, not a recorder. If the manual did not explane how to do it most likely it will not.

How do you set the clock?

1) Press and hold the CLOCK button for
at least 2 seconds while the display is
showing the time. The time indication
will begin to blink (for 5 seconds).

2) Press the CT button while the time
indication is blinking to set seconds to
"0."

3) Press the "H" button to adjust the hours
while the time indication is blinking.

4) Press the "M" button to adjust the
minutes while the time indication is
blinking. The time indication will stop
blinking 5 seconds after the last
adjustment. The time will automatically
be set.

The CT, H, & M buttons are on three of your number presets buttons. Looks close and you will see them.

Fisher and paykel saffron oven off auto setting

The current 2008 manual says...

Setting the clock
When first connected, or after a power failure longer than 15 seconds, ‘0.00’ and AUTO will
flash on the display. To set the clock, press the <hand> button and then the <+> and <-> buttons.
Note: Changing the time (by pressing ) will delete any automatic program.

However this had no effect whatsoever on our 2002 vintage model. Frustrated random button pushes suggested:
<timer>+<cook> (two leftmost buttons together) will switch you into time set mode where you can then adjust by the <+> and <-> buttons.

Kenwood KA-72B Stereo Receiver HELP NEEDED.

Why not plug the cassette directly into the CD recorder? Are they trying to achieve some eqalization change? If not, then this should work. It's all analog at tape level.
