Question about Televison & Video

1 Answer

Hi, I have a flat screen Humax...when you turn it on it takes a few minutes to warm up and then the pic comes on but only stays on for a sec or two and then the screen goes black for a while and then the pic comes back and this cycle seems to repeat. What is the problem and where in NYC is a place that I can take it to have it serviced. I have not found anyone who will touch it. Most Sincerely Concerned... David DAV1014 @aol.com

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My humax hdr7500t/1tb willnot stay on you turn it on and it comes up humax then a green screen and turns itself off i have been in touch with humax and have been told to update the system via a flash

To enable the ON command sustain, there is a voltage level should be maintained at the function which is driven from the power supply via passive component such as a resistor. Check for an open circuit or incorrect reading value of resisitor.

My Samsung 42" LCD used to turn on quickly, now it takes a LONG time for the screen to show anything. It looks like it turns on, turns off, turns on, etc. 7-8 times before finally staying on--almost like...

Ageing capacitors usually causes this sort of problem. They change value going low capacity etc. A replacement flourecent display board may likely fix it as the display is taking too long to come on.

My vs-45609 tv, when turning on only stays on 30

your main power assembly has blown a heat sink
the board runs around 2-300 and unless your very good with electronics, I would call a repait man...
Check your labor costs and add that to board cost
if you look around you might find a good guy that can get it done in just a few minuts and less than a hundred.. I live in Mass and 79.00 is my hourly labor for this repair..
