First open cpu cabinet.
Then Refix your RAM memory .
Reattach ATX power connector from SMPS to motherbord.
Remove pci cards from PCI slot.
Pull cmos cell from motherbord for 10 minutes so all motherbord settings are defaults.
Reattach both connection to harddisk.
Make sure your harddisk is detected in bios.
When you power up the computer press F1 or F2 or "del" key to enter in bios.
Then check harddisk is detected.
Let me know if you need more assistance.
Thanks.

CLEAR POWER-ON PASSWORD IN XW 6200

Try Below step.

To disable the power-on or setup password features, or clear the power-on or setup passwords, do the following:
  1. Shut down the operating system and then turn off the workstation and any external devices. Disconnect the power cord of the workstation and any external devices from the power outlets.
  2. Disconnect the keyboard, monitor, and any other external devices that are connected to the workstation.
  3. Remove the hood cover.
  4. Locate the header and jumper. The password jumper is green.
  5. Remove the jumper from pins 1 and 2. Place the jumper on either pin 1 or 2, but not both, so it does not get lost.
  6. Replace the hood cover.
  7. Reconnect the external equipment.
  8. Plug in the workstation and turn on the power. Allow the operating system to start. This clears the current passwords and disables the password features.
  9. To establish new passwords, repeat steps 1 through 4, replace the password jumper on pins 1 and 2, then repeat steps 6 through 8. Establish the new passwords in Computer Setup.

My HP D530C does not power on. The power LED flashes 4 times. What is the fault? Pls let me know asap. Thanks.

HP xw6200 Workstation - Diagnostic LED Code: Four Flashes ISSUE: When the workstation is powered on, the front LED might flash red four times, once per second, followed by a two second pause. SOLUTION: The front LED flashing four times is a sign of a power failure. To fix this issue, complete the following steps:
  1. Open the access panel, and check to see if the four-wire power supply cable is properly connected to the system board.
  2. There may be a faulty device. Locate it by removing all devices and then reinstalling them one at a time until the workstation fails. Replace the device causing the failure. Continue adding devices to ensure all are functioning properly.
  3. Verify the power supply functionality, as follows:
    1. Disconnect AC power.
    2. Remove all internal power supply cables from the system board.
    3. Plug in AC power.
      • If the power supply fan spins, and the BIST LED illuminates, then the power supply is good. Replace the system board.
      • If the power supply fan does not spin, or the BIST LED does not illuminate, replace the power supply.

Pc beeps five times when swtched on

PC beeps are usually memory-related problems. make sure you are using the right memory for your computer. the specs should be a DDR2 DIMM 240 pin PC2-3200. what specs do you have?
also do you have two 1G memory sticks or just one 2G memory stick? it may be that your computer doesn't accept a 2G memory stick but rather 1G memory sticks. good luck.

Hp xw6200, 6 beeps, and red power button...failed start up.

6 long beeps indicates that there is a problem with the memory, take them out, clean the contacts and the DIMM slots and reseat them.
Hopefully this will resolve the problem, if not new memory may be required
kind regards
