Question about Dell 968w Printer

My 968w printer will not print wireless. i have worked with att support and they are telling me the wireless pack is bad, but not sure of it. how can I tell if the wireless pack is not working properly or if it is not configured properly. I have been printing wireless for over a year and it suddenly stopped.

Did you try it with another computer? well if you can see the wirless printer in your computer and you cannot print, this is software isusse or configuration. but if there is no connection at all, could be corrupted wireless card.

Try reseting the wireless router, theres a reset button hold it down for 30 seconds.

Go inside printer menu and assign it a static IP address, address that is not in use by any of your other devices. use 255.255.255.0 for subnet and your router ip as gateway

My printer keeps telling me to open the lid and check something it wont print


Open lid and check for paper jams.  Otherwise, turn the thing off and reboot.

Dell 968w printer - won't connect to my Mac. is there a driver I can download to fix the problem? Dell tech support states this printer won't support a Mac OS.


For basic printing, use the PC as a server:

I don't have personal experience, but I'm guessing that for photo printing you'll need a new printer.

I can't connect wirelessly with my printer since I got Uverse


i work for att tech. support .. but for DSL
yeah we dont configure printers....
but what you can do is go to the modem interphse
URL....only type in 192.168.1.254 ENTER
and go to FIREWALL then SETTINGS
select DMZ modem or allow all applications
give that a shoot might help.
then see under HOME NETWORK if you see the printer
