Traction control light is on. Is this an MOT failure? Will it be electrical or module failure?

MOT failure ? You must be located in the UK .The traction control light being on indicates a problem in that system an probably has a trouble code stored in the ABS electronic brake control module . Your best bet is to have a qualified repair shop check it out . Or at least call an ask about MOT requirements .

Need a code for my car stereo x its a Ford 2006 x been without music since mot weld x drive for work so its doing my head in x the number on top stereo is PAL 069253 hope this is right one as taken me an...

Unfortunately this is not the correct number needed to provide a code for this radio.

Your serial number is what is required and should begin with either the letter M or letter V followed by 6 numbers e.g. M123456 or V123456.

When you get the details I recommend you go to this site (click here) which does these Ford codes for only £5.99. Send them the serial details and they will email or text the code back to you.

I use them all the time for radios I repair and can vouch for them as accurate, cheap and they provide good customer service.

Thanks for using FixYa.

1995 Accord Radio reads CODe. Suggestions?

I had the same issue with mine. Call a dealer, they will ask for a number that's on the back or maybe the top of the stereo. They will also need proof that the car isn't stolen and is actually your's before they will give you the code to unlock it. Hope this helps.

Hi the problem with getting the code is the age of the vehicle now if the stereo is original then it might have the code written on sticker on the case of the stereo so you need to remove the stereo and have a look.
If the code isnt on the stereo then if you still have the original hand book for the car it might be written in their but the chances of you having this is very slim.
The only other place you can get the code from is a ford dealers they have these code wriiten on computer for this problem.
What ill do whilst i wait for your reply is ask around people i know as im a car mechanic so ill ask around for you ok ill get back to you shortly
