Question about Audio Players & Recorders
My mini mp4 player is not functioning and showing this message 'file format error'
Check if the files you have put in your mp4 player match the file formats supported by your player. Try experimenting with diffrent file formats to see which one works .

I had the same problem, so i re-encoded with the frame rate at 20 fps and aspect ratio at 320 x 240 avi. This worked fine.
Hope this helps.

Tips for a great answer:
Sep 24, 2011 | GPX MW8847DT MP3 Player
File system error can appear due to unplugging the MP3 player without disconnecting it. It may have happened due to formatting it with a different file format or due to memory issue with the player. Please reformat your MP3/MP4 player. Connect it to the computer, go to My computer-> right click on the mp3/mp4 player after it is displayed-> select format-> Format it as FAT32 File system. Formatting the MP3/MP4 player will delete all the songs/data from the player. So, backup all data before formatting it. Hope this helps...
