Question about Washing Machines
Hi, I have a Bosch Classixx 1400 express washing machine. I turn on the machine and nothing happens. The machine does not fill with water, also the door can be opened with the cycle started. I am guessing that the door not locking properly does not make a switch which, in turn, will not then allow the water valve solenoids to operate. The solenoid coils seem to be okay, there is a circuit on both, but an open circuit on the the wiring to the solenoids. Whichever programme I select, the machine door can still be opened. Is this the problem? the door lock? and if so, can it be fixed or does it need a new door lock? any help or advice would be greatly received. Thankyou for your time.
