Wireless adapter crashes Toshiba Satellite A55

When wireless adapter is switched ON, my Toshiba Satellite A55 crashes through the blue screen and immediately restarts. This happened after we relocated to the new apartment. When the Wireless adapter is deactivated through Network Settings in Control Panel or is physically turned off by the switch, the system works OK.
Is it the hardware failure or I could try some software fix?

It sounds like you have an issue with the Wireless driver on your system. If it is for the specific model you have listed here then please download and install the driver from the link below.

My toshiba satellite A55 won't turn on

Hi. Try this simple steps:

Remove the battery and ac adapter. Press and hold down the power button for 10 seconds. Plug the ac adapter in and leave the battery aside. If the system still doesn't turn on, try to reseat your memory modules. If still nothing happens, you have to replace the motherboard.

Hope it helps!

Switch on wireless key on Toshiba Satellite M30,

Try downloading and reinstalling the drivers for the wireless network adapter. If you have the original disk it should have the driver if not you can download it from the Toshiba site.

My Satellite A55-S3061 constantly goes to a blue screen error and reboots itself. I have replaced the hard drive and cleaned the heat sink. What do I do

Most blue screen errors are memory related. Try removing a module and rebooting then switch out the module with another one, see if one of your modules is either bad or not seated fully.

Sounds like you have snapped the centre connector in the laptop. If you look at the AC connector on the laptop there should b a "pin" in the centre. These frequently snap off, symtoms are :
Battery will not charge
Will not turn on from AC supply.

There are some firm which will replace the ac jack for you but it will cost.
Interent search .. replace DC jack on toshiba
